CARICOM Project 2008

The Annual 3rd Form Caricom Project Presentation was held on Wednesday April 23, 2008 at BHS. The countries chosen were Dominica, Suriname and Trinidad & Tobago.

The third place was given to Dominica. Trinidad and Suriname tied for first place. The stage presentation is a component of the 3-part competition. They were also judged on a written paper in addition to their exhibitions on the day of the presentations.

The CARICOM Project

Each year, the Third Form students of the BHS carry out an activity in which they examine the cultural practices and development of a CARICOM territory - and more recently other Caribbean territories. The forms enter into a competition, and the winning form receives a prize which is donated by Old Students. This started as an initiative of the Old Students who worked at the CARICOM Secretariat, and has expanded to involve other Old Students.
